Children’s Church

Jesus said, “Let the little come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to them.”
~ Matthew 19:14 ~
Children’s Church sign-in is in the sanctuary prior to service.  Children attend the first part of the worship service and are released during announcements.
The vision of our Children’s Ministry is to create disciples for the future of the church. We endeavor through Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and games to instill a desire to know Jesus and seek him every day. Our church uses the Orange Curriculum which cites Luke 2:52 as a framework and emphasizes 3 core truths.

1. I can trust God no matter what.
2. I need to make the wise choice.

3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Through strategic repetition and various creative means of approach, these core truths are kept squarely in view, so they are both memorable and have the maximum impact in the heart of your child. Children’s ministry is devoted to sharing the truth of God’s Word, the Bible, with kindergarten through 5th grade-aged children and to affirming God’s love for them as unique, precious individuals.

Through bible lessons, games, crafts and drama, children’s knowledge of God, relationship with Jesus, and understanding of the Holy Spirit are encouraged and nurtured in a positive and loving environment.

Along with Sunday morning Children’s Church, our Children’s Ministry hosts a variety of activities throughout the year such as bowling parties, swimming parties, Easter Egg hunts, Harvest Carnivals, and many others.

To ensure the safety of all our children, our volunteers are required to undergo a background check.
